The Home + Auto Insurance Remodel.

Built for People Tired of Settling.

Where we all play hooky from the headaches of homeownership.

It’s easy to see your insurance policy and agent like that one friend who only comes around for the big occasions — sign ups, renewals — gives you all sorts of grief when you have trouble, and is nearly nonexistent when you have something to celebrate.

It’s almost like they prefer not to hear from you at all. Maybe even secretly hope you fall into a moment that requires you to give them more attention by asking for help.

And still, they expect your contribution to the relationship — every month, every year — and expect you to question nothing.

The big companies/carriers aren’t changing. But the way the agency operates can.

The Home Sick Agency was built to actually show up in between — powered by the commission your policy already generates, returned to you as real maintenance, real support, and a real working relationship that doesn’t disappear until renewal season.

This is the Home and Auto Insurance Remodel.

Where we all play hooky from the headaches.

Welcome.

How The Home Sick Agency makes that happen for you:

Quote & Qualify

Everyone who is eligible can obtain Home + Auto coverage through The Home Sick Agency. In order to qualify for the Home Sick Credit, you must have a total premium of apx $2250: a number most homes in our area meet.

Enroll & Invest

As an independent insurance agency, The Home Sick Agency will work with multiple insurance companies to find the right fit for you. Once you’re placed, you’re enrolled as a member. Your coverage & benefits activate.

Prevent & Maintain

A large portion of the commission your policy generates comes back to you every year as your Home Sick Credit. $100 toward claim saving maintenance on your home or your car. Real work. Real Value. Funded by the Agency.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Home Sick Credit really free?

Yes. The credit comes directly from the commission your policy generates — money the agency earns anyway. Instead of watching it disappear into overhead, a portion of it comes back to you. Your premium doesn’t go up to fund it.

What carriers do you work with?

As an independent agency, we’re not married to one carrier. We shop your coverage across multiple well-known companies to find the right fit for your home, your car, and your budget. You get options. We do the legwork.

What can the credit actually be spent on? How does it work?

Real maintenance. Think roof inspections, dryer vent cleanings, oil changes, brake jobs — the kind of work that keeps small problems from becoming big claims. We’ll have a list of local providers you can deploy your credit through. You can even use it at other locations with proof of work. Use it or lose it — it resets annually.

What happens if I switch agencies? What if I leave?

We keep it simple and honest. If you cancel your policy and the carrier claws back the commission, the $100 credit would need to be returned. That’s the one condition. Outside of that, you’re free to go anytime — no games.

Do I have to bundle home and auto to qualify?

Bundling gets you there faster since the $2,250 threshold is easier to hit with both policies. But it’s not a hard requirement — if your standalone premium qualifies on its own, you’re in.

Do you have plans on expanding the benefits?

Yes. As membership grows, The Home Sick Agency will be releasing more member benefits. A few benefits currently in development are:

1. A home repair tailored A.I.

2. A home renovation visualizer/design tool used by top national brands, made available free of charge.

3. A highly-tuned “Home Sick Visit” aimed at addressing and maintaining key areas that cause the most claims in a home.

4. A Community Dividend funded through commission money, sponsoring local school programs annually.

All of the benefits are designed to increase the homeowner/policyholder’s experience in and around their home.

Meet the Founder

I became entrenched in the trades from a young age — a Cincinnati kid eating chicken nuggets on a work bucket in the corner of million dollar mansions and homes that had to finance a drywall repair from a roof leak. It’s safe to say I saw & heard more than most by the age of 18.

When I left to play ball in college I learned the mechanics of money — how it’s sourced, how it moves, what it builds. Returning to the trades as an adult, spending years inside industry leading national brands, I watched firsthand how trades knowledge and capital work together to make and sell a profitable product.

Throughout my decades of dedication to the craft, the chicken nugget kid had been keeping a silent catalog of the methods to the madness: all of the unsung songs of simple hope & struggle shared by the worker and the property owner to build and maintain a meaningful way of life without unneeded strife.

The most important lesson I learned along the way is that it’s not always the amount of dollars that count. It’s how someone chooses to make those dollars count that really shows in the results. The thought behind the action and the spend is what really makes the difference.

The Home Sick Agency is my way of tipping the cap to the real effort of keeping a home. And hopefully tilting the scale toward any responsible homeowner — for not a single dollar more than they’d pay for quality coverage anywhere else.
